Usually, it only takes asking the question “How did that get here?” to recognize the impact that truck drivers have on our daily lives. Our national Christmas tree is no exception.
Truck driver Duane Brusseau and a specially wrapped Mack Pinnacle took on the great responsibility of hauling the Capitol Christmas tree from one Washington to another. The 10,000 lb. tree rode on a 103 ft. expandable long-load trailer, travelling 5300 miles from the Colville National Forest in Newport, Washington to the Capitol lawn. Brusseau and his wife made dozens of stops along the way, touring the new tree across the country. Just one more reason we’re proud to be a part of this industry.
From all of ours to all of yours, we wish you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous new year.
